Progression is smooth and fast. The game relies on an indescribable amount of backtracking, even with a quick travel map, to control its pace and add some length. Overall, a very good hidden object game.

I used to play these hidden objects games a lot back then, so I was expecting this game to be to my liking, and I was very curious about it since the day I found it on green light. Well, it didn’t disappoint.

The hidden object scenes didn’t give a headache, and the mini-games were just right, neither boring nor needlessly complicated.

The story of the main chapter is interesting, the cut scenes are enjoyable to watch, and the ending was kind of captivating.

Kudus to Eipix for reinventing this casual game genre. A must buy game for all who like a different kind of casual game that uses atmosphere. There are some jump scares and some scary but not jumpy parts in the main game.

I absolutely loved this game. The animated cut scenes were very well done, and I could see the emotions in the characters face. They are very well drawn. The voice-overs were very good as well. Whoever did them put some effort into conveying the fear and anxiety she was feeling.

Lots of scenes, well-hidden objects and a few puzzles that were maybe a little too easy, but the game will keep you going and keep you interested.

Enigmatis 2 – The Mists of Ravenwood

Enigmatis 2 - The Mists of Ravenwood

It is the sequel to the smash hit Enigmatis- The Ghost of Maple Creek. It is a detective story rich with a horror plot, twists and shadowy intrigue—a great sequel to the first maple creek adventure.

A year has gone by, and your previous case was not solved. This time you come upon an abandoned camper. The family’s things are scattered about, and a sweet little girl hidden in a closet desperately wants her mom. Here the adventure begins.

While the storyline varies from the first, there is enough substance to relate the two. This game has great character development, a good storyline, wonderful graphics and an instant grab at involvement.

The hidden object scenes became interactive with items and not just find and click. Mini games are OK, some old, some new but pleasant to play. Overall I think you will enjoy getting caught up in its suspense.

When the Past Was Around

When the Past Was Around

This point-and-click adventure and hidden object game features tremendous storytelling. It follows a girl searching for the secrets between herself and her significant other in an abnormal world. The game has a beautiful art style and calm violin music playing throughout the story, which unfolds without any dialogue.

Grim Legends - The Forsaken Bride

This game has very good production values. The graphics and color palette are outstanding, with great details and an eyeful of incredibly beautiful environments.

I love the kitty, especially watching her trying to climb out of her storage case to help out. The voice-overs are nice except for the main male character, which sounds like a dictator. However, you can turn them off.

A fast travel map shows available actions. If playing casual, play dominoes if you don’t want to play the height object scenes. This is a refreshing, imaginative and beautifully conceived game with flawless gameplay for entertainment.

Morphopolis

Morphopolis

Morphopolis is a beautiful looking casual slow-burn puzzler fueled by hidden object elements. I recommend it, but it is not for everyone. While not brutally difficult, it is a sometimes frustrating experience.

Morphopolis is well suited for casual puzzle and artistic game fan. There is very little direction, and the lack of the ability to save your game while in the middle of one of Morphopolis’sMorphopolis’s five beautiful segments is irritating. The inherent beauty of this game is its calm, wickedly slow movement and its mesmerizing artwork.

So, failing to finish a segment during sitting results in the dreaded do-over with your ever-morphing insect ponderously revisiting the beautiful yet limited screens.

Hidden Folks

Hidden Folks

Hidden Folks is a hidden object game in the vein of where’s waldo but with much more stuff to find. Hidden folks is an adorable looking game, and I adore the art style. It’s such a pleasing game to look at.

Each area you visit has a couple of locations for you to explore and look around in, and they have a lot of stuff to see. In this hidden object game, you have a list at the bottom of stuff you need to find, and then once you find everything, you head to the next area.

In smaller areas, it’s pretty easy to find stuff, but as soon as the bigger maps come into play, they tend to be overwhelming. I would recommend this game to anyone that likes the hidden object genre.

The Room Series

The Room Series

The Room Series is a beautiful and intricate mechanical puzzler. It’sIt’s definitely worth giving the room a visit if you enjoy thinking out of and around the box.

If you are planning on playing the series, I recommend doing them in order with the room coming first. In the room series, all puzzles are mechanical, opening boxes, replacing missing parts, fixing machinery, restoring power, etc.

The individual puzzles are fairly simple, but the game is complex due to all the moving parts in the various rooms that must be worked through. You can use the hint feature if you ever get stuck in the game.

Hints are helpful in terms of pointing you towards the next area to work through or reminding you of something you might have missed.

If you love puzzles, you should try this game for sure it is very well done and quite tricky, but that adds to its charm. The room is one of the best puzzle game series I have ever played.
