MMO Gaming Mice between $100 – $200

Razer Naga V2 Pro

Razer Naga V2 Pro

The Razer Naga V2 Pro is a highly customizable wireless gaming mouse that is specifically designed for MMO gaming. The mouse’s build quality is exceptional, with a solid plastic body that feels high-quality and comfortable in hand.

The matte finish on the body provides a good grip, while the glossy black accents near the scroll wheel give the mouse a sleek look.

One of the standout features of the Razer Naga V2 Pro is the modular design that allows you to swap between three different side panels with either a 3, 6, or 12-button layout.

This feature has become a signature of the Naga series and sets it apart from other MMO models from different manufacturers. The hot-swappable side panels are held firmly in place with magnets and don’t slip out of place during regular use.

The mouse’s new generation of optical switches provides a smooth and responsive click latency, which is crucial for MMO gaming. Additionally, the customizable scroll wheel, known as the ‘hyperscroll pro wheel,’ is an excellent addition to the mouse.

The hyperscroll pro wheel allows you to customize various settings to adjust how it works, including the smoothness or tactility, the number of steps in a full rotation, and how the wheel functions when you scroll at different speeds.

While the Razer Naga V2 Pro is primarily geared towards MMO gaming, Razer advertises that the additional side button panels provide versatility for playing games in different genres, including Battle Royale, MOBA, and FPS games. However, it’s important to note that this mouse is heavy, and its weight makes it challenging to make quick movements in fast-paced, competitive games.

Overall, the Razer Naga V2 Pro is an exceptional mouse for MMO gaming. The build quality is excellent, and it has a comfortable right-handed shape with a rest for your finger on the right. The customization software allows you to reprogram all buttons and assign a shifting button to program a secondary layer of button assignments.

The sensor is remarkably accurate and consistent, producing a smooth and responsive experience in-game. While the Synapse 3 software may be frustrating to work with for some users, it is worth the investment for the exceptional gaming experience that the Razer Naga V2 Pro provides.

Positive
  • Feels very well-built.
  • Comfortable right-handed shape with a finger rest on the right side.
  • Has a set of three hot-swappable side panels with either 3, 6, or 12-button layouts.
  • You can customize the scroll wheel behavior in the software.
Negatives
  • Somewhat worse delay to first movement performance than other recent Razer releases.
  • High-priced

ASUS ROG Spatha X

ASUS ROG Spatha X

The ASUS ROG Spatha X is a wireless gaming mouse that boasts a sleek and stylish design. It has a matte black plastic body with sharp angles and multiple RGB lighting zones.

The mouse is right-handed with a thumb and pinky rest, and it has six buttons on the side with an additional two buttons on the left-hand side of the left-click button. It can connect to your computer either wired using its charging cable or wirelessly through its charging dock, which also serves as a receiver.

The mouse’s performance is impressive, with very low click latency and a consistent sensor. You can precisely adjust the CPI by increments of 50 within a broad range, and it also has a low lift-off distance, although not as low as some gaming mice.

Compared to the original ASUS ROG Spatha released in 2016, the Spatha X has fewer side buttons. However, its button layout is versatile enough for multiple genres of games.

One unique feature of the Spatha X is that its right and left-click buttons have push-fit switch sockets, allowing you to install switches of your preference or to replace switches as they wear out.

The mouse is comfortable to use with both palm and claw grip, but it may not be the ideal shape for a fingertip grip. Additionally, users with smaller hands may find it difficult to reach all the buttons.

The Spatha X has a distinct gamer aesthetic with its matte black plastic body and full 8-bit RGB lighting zones. It has five independent RGB lighting zones, including one on the mouse wheel, one on the palm rest logo, three on the side button cluster, and one on the docking station.

One downside to the mouse is that it is heavy, and there are no weight optimization options. However, the included pair of paracord-like cables are flexible and retain minimal kinks from their packaging.

The Spatha X’s feet are similar to those on the original Spatha and glide smoothly on mousepads, although there may be some scratching when using the mouse directly on desks.

You can program all buttons on the top of the mouse, including the scroll wheel up/down inputs, and the polling rate settings are 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, and 1000Hz. The mouse also has a DPI On-The-Scroll tuning feature that lets you adjust the CPI using the scroll wheel.

The mouse uses the ASUS Armory Crate software, which has a clean layout and is easy to navigate. However, some users may find it contains unnecessary bloatware.

Overall, the ASUS ROG Spatha X is an excellent wireless gaming mouse with impressive performance, a comfortable grip, and a stylish design. While it may not have as many side buttons as some MMO gaming mice, its button layout is versatile enough for multiple genres.

Positive
  • Feels very well-built.
  • Very low click latency.
  • Good number of side buttons and programmable buttons overall.
Negatives
  • A bit heavy
  • Pricey

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED

The Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED is a wireless gaming mouse that’s designed to be used for a wide range of gaming genres. It’s built with a solid body that feels premium and comfortable to hold, and has grips on both sides of the mouse to enhance control.

The mouse is optimized for a palm grip due to its shape and thumb rest, but it may be too large for those with smaller hands.

One of the most impressive features of the Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED is its sensor. It has an extra-wide CPI range and the set CPI is remarkably consistent regardless of whether you’re moving the mouse slowly or quickly. This results in smooth and responsive cursor movements, which is crucial for precise gaming.

The Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED can be customized to suit your preference. It comes with four 2g weights and two 4g weights that you can attach or remove to adjust the mass of the mouse. However, even without any weights attached, the mouse is still quite heavy compared to other gaming mice.

The mouse can be used either wired or wirelessly, and connects to your computer via a dedicated receiver. The cable is flexible and doesn’t retain kinks, but it does have a tendency to curl up a bit. The PTFE feet of the mouse provide a smooth gliding experience on both a desk or a mousepad, but they’re on the thinner side and have sharp edges.

All of the buttons on the Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED can be reprogrammed, except for the mechanical scroll wheel lock. There are three buttons on the left side, including a sniper button, and two additional ones on the main left click for CPI adjustments.

You can set a G-Shift button that enables another layer of commands when pressed down, giving you a total of 21 programmable inputs.

The sensor of the Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED is impressive. It has a wide CPI range adjustable by steps of 50, and is very consistent with practically no variation in CPI whether you’re moving the mouse slowly or quickly. The minimum lift-off distance is low, so the sensor shouldn’t track your movements when you reposition your mouse.

The Logitech G HUB software is fantastic and allows for a lot of customization. You can save multiple profiles on the mouse and use them on a different computer without having to download the software again. However, some users have reported issues using the software, such as freezing, startup problems, and connection issues with certain devices.

Overall, the Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED is an excellent option for gamers who play a wide range of genres. It’s well-built, comfortable, and customizable, with an impressive sensor and plenty of programmable inputs.

Positive
  • Feels very well-built.
  • Excellent click latency.
  • Extremely consistent CPI whether you’re moving the mouse slowly or quickly.
Negatives
  • Large design may be uncomfortable for people with smaller hands.
  • Not as many side buttons as dedicated MMO mice.

SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless

SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless

The SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless gaming mouse is designed for MOBA and MMO games that require lots of button inputs. The mouse has a lightweight design, with diamond-shaped cutouts on the top, bottom, and on parts of the left- and right-click buttons to reduce its overall weight.

The body of the mouse is made of matte black plastic and has a perforated design that looks visually similar to other mice in the SteelSeries Aerox lineup.

The mouse has three RGB zones, with one located inside the mouse, visible through the cutouts, and the other two in a strip that wraps around the back of the mouse at the bottom. The mouse feels well-built, with a sturdy perforated plastic body that exhibits very little flex.

The SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless gaming mouse has a dedicated CPI button located behind the scroll wheel, which lets you cycle through up to five CPI settings per user profile.

The scroll wheel has a grippy rubber surface and well-defined steps, making it easy to scroll through documents or web pages. The mouse has a 12-button side panel on the left, which is useful for MMO and MOBA games that require lots of button inputs.

You can program all buttons on the mouse, including the up/down and left/right scroll inputs. SteelSeries advertises that the left- and right-click buttons use Golden Micro switches with a rating of 80 million clicks.

The SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless gaming mouse can connect wirelessly via a USB receiver or Bluetooth. The mouse has a battery life of up to 80 hours when connected with its USB receiver or up to 180 hours connected via Bluetooth.

The mouse has an RGB battery life indicator that will flash red when the battery life is 5% or less, and it will flash either red, yellow, or green to indicate the remaining battery life when you wake the mouse or turn it on.

The mouse comes with a mesh charging cable, which feels high-quality but is closer in flexibility to a braided cable rather than a paracord-like cable.

The SteelSeries GG software is modern-looking and easy to use. It lets you remap buttons, program macros, configure battery-saving modes, set custom RGB lighting schemes, and precisely adjust your CPI.

The mouse also has onboard memory, which means you can save your settings and use them on other computers without having to install the software.

Sensor and Performance: The SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless gaming mouse uses a proprietary TrueMove Air sensor based on the PixArt PAW3335. The mouse has a polling rate options of 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, and 1000Hz.

The mouse has impressive click latency and feels snappy and responsive for gaming, but it isn’t as low as some high-end gaming mice. The mouse has superb, rounded feet that glide very smoothly on mousepads and desks.

MMO Gaming Mice between $50 – $100

Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+

Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+

The Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ is a gaming mouse that is highly recommended for video games like MMOs. Its programmable buttons allow for quick casting abilities, making it perfect for gamers who need to respond quickly to in-game situations.

The mouse’s modular body is a standout feature, as it can be customized to suit your hand size and grip style, providing a comfortable gaming experience.

The design of the Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ is unique and futuristic, with many modular pieces that allow for customization options. Its metal frame gives it a high-end feel, and it also features RGB lighting that can be set using the software.

However, it is worth noting that the wired latency of the mouse is slightly higher than most wired gaming mice, although this may not be noticeable to most users.

One potential drawback of the Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ is its weight, which is relatively heavy even without the optional weights that can be added. Even when stripped down to just the basic components, it may still be too heavy for those who prefer lightweight gaming mice.

In terms of build quality, the Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ feels very well-built, with a metal frame and sturdy plastic covering. However, due to its modular design, there may be potential longevity issues.

The cable of the Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ is adequate, although it does retain kinks from being stored in the box. It is fairly rigid, but less inconvenient than some other gaming mice cables.

It is worth noting that if you drastically change the mouse’s shape and size configuration, you may off-center the sensor. For those looking for a mouse with a similar aesthetic and performance but a maximum advertised polling rate of 8000Hz, the EVGA X17 is worth considering.

The Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ offers plenty of customizable buttons, although the left click and profile switching buttons are not programmable. On the other hand, you can reprogram every scrolling direction on both mouse wheels, which is a nice touch.

The vertical and horizontal wheels of the Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ offer good feedback thanks to their incremented design, and scrolling can be remapped to your preferences using the software.

The click latency of the Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ is slightly higher than some other wired gaming mice, although this is unlikely to be an issue for most users.

The software for the Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ offers plenty of customization options, including setting RGB profiles on three different lighting zones and remapping all of the mouse’s buttons.

The mouse also has onboard memory, allowing you to use it on other computers while keeping your settings. However, it is worth noting that this customization is not available on macOS.

Overall, the Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+ is an excellent choice for gamers, particularly those who play MMOs. Its customizable buttons, modular body, and overall performance make it a top contender for anyone in need of a reliable gaming mouse.

Positive
  • The Razer Naga Trinity has options for customizable side panels.
  • The MMO features a wide array of 16.8 million colour options to choose from!
Negatives
  • The Razer Naga Trinity does not feature adjustable, weight, height, or balance.

Corsair Scimitar Pro RGB

Corsair Scimitar Pro RGB

The Corsair Nightsword is a gaming mouse that has an ergonomic design with a slanted shape and a thumb rest, making it comfortable to use. It also has RGB lighting and a few programmable buttons, although it is not on par with a dedicated MMO mouse in terms of button customization.

However, the mouse’s sensor is inconsistent, overshooting when moved fast and undershooting when moved slow. The mouse is also not recommended for people with small hands as it is a bit big. On the positive side, the Corsair Nightsword is well-built and has great customization options.

The Corsair Nightsword RGB is a good gaming mouse that has a decent amount of buttons, but has some CPI inconsistencies and slightly higher latency than most wired gaming mice. The mouse has a gaming-oriented design with many buttons and RGB zones.

The Corsair Nightsword is quite heavy, even when all the available weights are removed. It comes with six weights, three 4.5g, and three 2.7g. You can also check out Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite (cheaper), if you need more buttons on the side.

The Corsair Nightsword’s build quality is excellent, with a sturdy design and additional rubber grips for easy gripping. There are no rattling or wobbling parts, but the mouse feet are standard and glide fairly well. The mouse’s heavy weight gives it a solid feel.

The Corsair Nightsword’s ergonomics are suitable for right-handed users. The shape fits nicely with a palm or claw grip and has a comfortable thumb rest on the left side.

However, people with small hands may find some buttons hard to reach regardless of the grip used. This mouse is wired-only and cannot be used wirelessly.

The Corsair Nightsword’s cable is mediocre, with a very stiff feel and many kinks. The cable connection to the mouse is oddly long, causing additional drag.

All ten buttons on the Corsair Nightsword are programmable, with easy switching between profiles and CPI settings out of the box. There is also a sniper button that can be set to a specific CPI.

The buttons feel solid, although there is a bit of pre-travel on the two buttons situated on the left-click. The scroll wheel has very soft increments, but it has a rubbery feel, making it grippy.

The Corsair Nightsword’s wired click latency is low, making it responsive. The iCUE software offers a lot of customization, including where to put the weights to fine-tune the mouse’s performance. Settings are saved inside the mouse’s onboard memory, so there is no need to reinstall them on another computer.

In summary, the Corsair Nightsword is a comfortable gaming mouse with great customization options. While it may not have as many programmable buttons as a dedicated MMO mouse and has some sensor inconsistencies, its excellent build quality, low click latency, and iCUE software make it a good choice for gamers who prioritize comfort and customization.

Positive
  • Very low click latency.
  • Great performance
  • Very well-built design.
  • Great for palm and claw grips.
Negatives
  • Inconsistent sensor.
  • Stiff cable

Razer Naga Trinity

Razer Naga Trinity Gaming Mouse

The Razer Naga Trinity is an excellent wired gaming mouse that offers exceptional performance and customization options. With its incredibly low latency, it is ideal for MMOs where precision and speed are crucial. Additionally, its 19 programmable buttons allow you to set it up just the way you want it, giving you an edge in competitive gaming.

One of the standout features of the Razer Naga Trinity is its design, which allows you to switch between side panels easily.

Depending on the game you’re playing, you can choose the appropriate side panel with the button layout that suits your needs. This feature makes the mouse versatile and suitable for multiple genres, including FPS, MOBA, and RPG games.

While the Razer Naga Trinity’s cable is sturdy and durable, it is prone to kinks, which can be frustrating when using the mouse. Also, the mouse is relatively large, which might make it uncomfortable for users with smaller hands.

However, the mouse’s ergonomic design feels great in the hand, and the swappable side panels hold well in place, adding to the overall usability of the device.

In conclusion, the Razer Naga Trinity is a well-built and highly customizable mouse that offers excellent performance for gamers. It is compatible with the Razer Synapse 3 software, which allows you to customize its settings and save them on the mouse’s on-board memory.

Although it may not be the best option for users with smaller hands, it is still an excellent choice for gamers who prioritize customization and versatility.

Read this complete guide before buying a Razer Mouse.

Positive
  • Great gaming design.
  • Multiple button-layouts; customizable.
  • Very well-built design.
  • Excellent performance.
Negatives
  • Not recommended for small hands.
  • Rigid cable.

ROCCAT Kone XP

ROCCAT Kone XP

The Roccat Kone XP is a gaming mouse that I never thought I would like, but I ended up loving it. Despite my concerns about environmental issues, pandemics, and inflation, this mouse exceeded my expectations. The 3D RGB lighting is definitely a cool feature, but there is so much more to this mouse than that.

First of all, the ergonomic design is top-notch. Whether you use a claw or palm grip, the Kone XP feels comfortable and easy to use. It’s not the lightest mouse out there at 102g, but it strikes a good balance between weight and precision.

The textured thumb well and Easy-Shift paddle offer excellent support, and the back arches just high enough to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand.

One of the standout features of the Kone XP is its programmable buttons. With 15 buttons in total, you can customize the mouse to your liking. The four thumb buttons are positioned perfectly for easy access, and the two DPI buttons embedded into the left mouse button are surprisingly easy to use.

The Krystal 4D Wheel is also impressive, with its translucent design allowing for additional functions when clicked left, right, or down.

The main left and right mouse buttons sit on top of Roccat’s Titan Optical switches, which are responsive and reliable. The Easy-Shift function allows you to double the button functions, making it easy to map 29 possible functions. The Swarm software is user-friendly and makes customization a breeze.

The 19K DPI Roccat Owl-Eye optical sensor with 50G acceleration is excellent, and the PTFE feet allow the mouse to glide effortlessly on most surfaces. The 3D RGB AIMO Lighting is undoubtedly the biggest showstopper of this mouse.

The top shell is made of translucent plastic, which showcases the 22 individual LEDs that are grouped into 8 guidelines on each side. The lighting is bold and bright, and while it may not be for everyone, it’s definitely a unique feature.

Overall, the Roccat Kone XP is a fantastic wired gaming mouse. It’s great for both gaming and productivity work, and the build quality is excellent. The only downside is that there is now a wireless Kone XP Air available, but for those who prefer a wired connection, this mouse is hard to beat.

Positive
  • Excellent feel in the hand
  • Outstanding RGB aesthetics
  • Buttons are all easily accessible
  • Excellent performance in games
  • Great for productivity too
Negatives
  • Wired
  • Limited control over RGB

Logitech G604 Lightspeed Wireless

Logitech G604 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming

The Logitech G604 Lightspeed Wireless MMO mouse has a whopping 15 programming buttons- with 6 side thumb buttons, completely equipped with the G-hub software. Besides, this MMO features a Hero 16k sensor, ensuring accurate tracking, and a durable, metal scroll wheel which enables the user to switch modes in hyper-fast.

Thankfully, the programmable scrolling enables users to apply key binds. Although it is packed with some pretty cool features, its oddly humped body shape headlines issues that keep the Logitech G604 away from MMO stardom.

The top panel has two buttons, below the scroll wheel, practically for switching between wireless mode or pairing Bluetooth. Then the side buttons, the star of the show. There are 6 macro buttons, tightly clustered into two rows of three.

Practically, the gaming configuration software has played a significant part. This MMO mouse’s setting can be reconfigured easily, including DPI, macros, and various assigning buttons.

Positive
  • The Logitech G604 Lightspeed wireless MMO mouse is offering a plethora of buttons, including scroll- wheel tilt inputs.
  • The price is decent for a wireless mouse
  • Impressive Hero 16K sensor
Negatives
  • The Logitech G604 Lightspeed wireless MMO mouse is powered by AA battery
  • The base panels are slippery
  • The high shape results in discomfort and unease

MMO Gaming Mice Under $50

HyperX Pulsefire Raid

HyperX Pulsefire Raid – Gaming Mouse

The HyperX Pulsefire Raid MMO mouse is equipped with spectacular characteristics; a light-weight, balanced, and a Pixart 3389 sensor, ensuring maximum, durability, precision and efficiency, this mouse is simply classic.

The HyperX Pulsefire Raid is structured with 11 programming buttons, ergonomic designing; thankfully, this FPS-styled mouse certainly delivers premium functionality at a pretty cool price. The MMO mouse supports a standard right-handed shape, and a little hump for thumb resting, guided by standard rubber for your pinky ease.

Ahead of where your thumb should be positioned, is a ‘sniper’ macro, which apparently doesn’t drop to the default DPI, but again is a customizable input. The MMO mouse supports customizable RGB lighting.

Alas, the HyperX Pulsefire is pretty ergonomic and might be fit to work alongside users who wish for new additions in the MMO mouse, but still, the clunky shape might result in discomfort.

Positive
  • The HyperX Pulsefire Raid definitely has 11 programming buttons, ensuring complete efficiency
  • Wheel-tilting inputs
  • Strong and good value
Negatives
  • Apparently, the ‘sniper’ is out of reach, and it may take some time to get adjusted to it
  • The two macro sets may result as a complication in smooth user-interface

Logitech G600

Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse

First up on the list, is the Logitech G600 MMO mouse that includes 20 MMO tuned buttons, and a quick-witted 12 button thumb-panel for no-look navigation. Logitech has provided the ability to customize your mouse relatively to other models.

The low friction polytetrafluoroethylene feet eliminate friction, ensuring smooth motion and improved accuracy. The laser sensor can track up to 8,200 DPI should you find yourself of ability.

The best characteristic of the Logitech G600 is that the software does not have any necessity for MMO mouse information settings if you opt for playing on computers. The G600 features a few advantages over the competition, starting with an additional three buttons.

In addition to 12 buttons on the right side of the mouse, the left and right mouse buttons, and two additional buttons up top, the G600 sports an extra button that sits below your pinky. Perhaps, the best-noted feature of the Logitech G600 is the ‘G-shift ring finger button’ which gives the user access to add up actions you can perform with every button.

The fine whittled mouse and tuned buttons reduce click fatigue during multi-player sessions.  If you’re looking for a multi-functional gaming mouse, the Logitech G600 is a hard mouse to beat.

If you are into white colored mouse then we have a good news that it is also available in white color.

Positive
  • Logitech G600 gives you access to multiple buttons and a separate interface.
  • It also features an easy and user-friendly customizable software for gaming use.
Negatives
  • Additional buttons can be difficult to reach overtime.
  • Ergonomically, the mouse can prove to be uncomfortable, thus, the user may have to face problems when resting palm over its surface.
