Before you get started, you need some general tools and materials:

Drill and bit set

Ensure all speakers and components are disconnected and positioned where you want them.

1- Use Rugs, Runners, or Carpets to cover it

Hiding wires with rugs, runners, or carpets are a great way to conceal speaker cable in your home. But it cannot hide all inches of exposed wiring.

You can alter the layout of your space at any time by employing this technique. Because some methods make it hard to rearrange the installation of your room

You can shift the cables and rugs without relying on any installations or specialized equipment. This method is simple and can be completed without any tools.

The speakers’ wires are easily visible when hidden under thin layered rugs, runners, or carpets. When families pass through the area, they may damage wire rugs by dragging them on pavement or other surfaces.

For this, you’ll need thick, layered carpets that you place on the floor and then arrange the speaker wire along the edge. This will make the speaker wire almost unnoticeable.

Some people may tie the carpet in the room but remove it in the summer.

Because some people enjoy relaxing on the ground in the summer. In the summer, you’ll need to rearrange your speaker wire if you do. Then you must move on to the other strategies that we have described.

2- Light Strips

3- Painting

Flat adhesive wire

First, we’ll discuss flat, adhesively backed tape wire. You may use this wire to easily arrange the speaker wires on the walls. It is thinner than a traditional ID card.

To start, you must take a measurement and then attach it to the wall. One of the benefits of this wire is that you may twist it at any moment. This wire can be bent in any direction with ease.

You won’t need any staples or other equipment for this wire. There will be no scratches on your walls with this wire.

Common speakers wire

To apply this method, you’ll need a staple gun, zip ties, and paint matching your wall. If you want to paint your walls, avoid doing so if the wire’s color is the same as or similar to your wall.

4- Hide speaker wire behind your wall

Our fourth method is costly since you don’t have to make tiny holes in the walls to move the wire across. Underground speaker wires may be hidden behind the wall.

And this will keep your work neat. Plate covers are similar to light and power outlets.

Install speaker wires inside walls are time-consuming and difficult, taking longer than other methods. If you want to do this job, you’ll need an artisan. Because this method is not simple.

5- Cable Raceways or Covers

In our last method, we use cable raceways or covers. We’ll go over two types of cable coverings that enable you to transport speaker wires from the walls to the floors and ceilings.

Rubber Covers

More than one wire may be used in rubber covers. Thinned rubber covers cover the baseboard and go through the door. You will not have to put in much effort using rubber covers.

The rubber covers are cut it easily with scissors. Use double-sided tape to attach the rubber covers to the wall or floor.

Plastic Covers

In our second raceways or cover method, we use plastic covers. Plastic covers are an easy and low-cost method of running wires along with the trim. Adhesive materials are used in most cases to connect two pieces together. It consists of adhesives, anchors, joints, and bending joints.

You may use it to connect the pieces together and attach them to the walls and corners. But, the rubber corner is a little easier this way. However, plastic covers should be utilized for corners.
